September 22 & 23, 9:30-4:00
(Part 1 of this course along with more of Irene’s biography, can be found here.)
Ivory and Coral are no longer sustainable and yet the beauty of these aspects of the natural world is hugely appreciated, especially in jewelry. So…would it be possible to approximate these materials? And then, could they be used in jewelry?
This 2 day workshop, given by Irene Corman at the McTavish Centre, on Sept. 22 and 23, has been designed for experienced beginners (intermediate) and absolute beginners. You will learn how to use polymer clay to make pieces that approximate, pretty closely, the look of ivory and coral. Also included will be techniques to make elements like very smooth stones as above. These can be used as beads or pendants or…
Polymer clay will be provided, included in your workshop payment of 170.00 for the two days and a supplies list sent to you closer to the time. There may be an additional materials fee.
