Mountains and Trees in Acrylic:
September 29 – 30, 2018*
During our recent workshop with Perry Haddock one of the class members wondered if Phee Hudson, who was also in the class, might be willing to give a future workshop. In response to this spontaneous suggestion Phee kindly agreed to offer a workshop. A date was fixed and within 48 hours every member of the class signed up. Hence the immediate wait list.
Phee is an immensely talented artist whose work captures the essence of the coves and beaches of the west coast and the rugged alpine lakes and peaks of the Coast Range and Rocky Mountains. Her work has received wide acceptance and awards, and is represented by Mountain Galleries in Whistler, Jasper and Banff. In 2013, as artist in residence, she was commissioned to paint three 6′ by 8′ mountain landscapes for the lobby of the Fairmount Chateau Lake Louise. Her paintings are held in corporate and private collections across North America, Europe and Africa.
