Joining an arts group as a youth offers a supportive space for creative expression. Participants build confidence and collaboration skills.

Celebrating its 73rd anniversary in 2026, the Saanich Peninsula Arts and Crafts Society (SPAC) now offers individuals, aged 12 to 18 years of age, a $25 annual membership if you reside in the following areas:

• Greater Victoria region (Victoria, Oak Bay, Esquimalt, – Saanich, Langford, Colwood, Metchosin, Sooke, Highlands, View Royal)
• Saanich Peninsula (Sidney, Central and North Saanich, Saanich Inlet)
• Gulf Islands (Salt Spring, Pender, Mayne, Galiano, Saturna)

With over 400 experts artists to learn from, youth members can show their artwork publicly at many ventures including the annual Spring Show at the Mary Winspear Centre in Sidney. Annual youth scholarships are also available.

Membership fee is non-refundable.
