The SPAC 72nd Anniversary Spring Show at the Mary Winspear Centre in Sidney is recognized island-wide as a superior exhibition and sale of original paintings, sculpture, pottery, fibre and textile arts, fine crafts and jewellery.
Every year we invite members of our community who appreciate art for their personal or professional spaces to become a SPAC Art Patron.
As an Art Patron, for your non-refundable $175 contribution, you will enjoy the following benefits:
- An invitation for you and one guest (2 people) to attend the private Friday Night Patrons’ Gala on April 25, 6:30 pm to 9:00 pm prior to the opening of the Show. Be one of the first to browse the Main Gallery and Gift Shop in-person, meet the artists and purchase artwork.
- A $100 credit towards the purchase of an original piece of art from more than 700 pieces on display in the Main Gallery. This credit may not be used in the Gift Shop.
- Complimentary entry to the weekend Show and Gift Shop for further viewing.
- Additional Gala perks include wine from a local vineyard and gourmet appetizers.
My wife and I have been proud supporters and patrons of the SPAC Spring Show since 2019. The diversity of the Show guarantees something for every palette for the visual arts lover such as us. The annual Show is a definite highlight in our social calendar – and our walls are covered with pieces from the wonderful local artists. We have yet to leave a Show without a new treasure for our home. A big thank you to the many volunteers who organize SPAC and continue to bring us this wonderful event. And another heartfelt thank you for the continuing opportunity to be a patron of your fantastic Show.
Your contribution to the arts community will be noted by the appearance of your name in our event brochure (or you can remain anonymous, if desired).

Important Notes
- Please ensure your forms are submitted prior to April 7, 2025. If you miss the deadline, contact the Patron Chair, Christine Chisholm, patrons@spacsociety.com and and we will try to accommodate you. We cannot, however, guarantee tickets will still be available.
- Invitations to the Patrons’ Gala will be sent via Canada Post starting March 24, 2024.
- No admission to anyone under 18 years of age as alcohol is served at the Gala.
