About SPAC
Mission
The Saanich Peninsula Arts and Crafts Society (SPAC) is a registered nonprofit organization dedicated to offering promotion, support, education, marketing and socializing for over 400 member artists living in the Greater Victoria region, the Saanich Peninsula and the Gulf Islands.
Volunteers run SPAC, and every member is encouraged to participate to help maintain the Society’s vibrant life.
Governance
As a nonprofit organization, SPAC is run by a volunteer Board of Directors, consisting of:
- Elected officers
- Appointed chairs/convenors of standing committees
The Board meets for 2 hours once a month, September to June at the McTavish Academy of Art (MAOA) in North Saanich.
The Board is a vibrant team, working in a collaborative environment – in support of SPAC‘s mission to promote, support, educate, market and provide socializing opportunities to its 400 plus members.
