Born and raised in Winnipeg, I moved to Vancouver in the mid 80’s, then to the Island 10 years later. Self-taught, I have always enjoyed creating all kinds of crafts and art, from a very young age. The last few years I’ve had a special interest in creating things from repurposed scrap wood and found items, such as grow charts and, during Covid, many fairy doors, thinking we all needed a wee bit of magic during such a difficult time.

Currently my interest is in acrylic painting, and get great enjoyment especially out of painting animals, whether they be from the wild or pets. Commemorative pet portraits give me the greatest satisfaction, and I welcome commissions.
