Artist Bio – Deborah Czernecky

Deborah is an established Canadian Artist who is an elected member of the Society of Canadian Artists (SCA) and an active member of the Federation of Canadian Artists (FCA).  Having traveled widely from western to eastern Canada and across the awe-inspiring Canadian North, Deborah call Canada her “Big Back Yard”. 

Deborah grew up in an artistic family in the interior of BC, developing a life-long passion for paint and nature.  Whether painting on location or in the studio, Deborah combines her dynamic palette with elements of abstraction and traditional realism to convey the essence of the subject matter.  Websitespinningdogstudio.ca

Class Description

Open to both acrylic and oil painters, this 2-day workshop is designed for the advanced novice.  Together with Deborah, you will explore our unique four seasons by painting a Spring, Summer, Fall and Winter scene.  You will focus on colour mixing for each season, exploring the composition of your chosen images and having fun. The schedule starts with Spring on the Saturday morning and Summer that afternoon.  Sunday morning will be Fall, with Winter in the afternoon. 

Participants should bring a few images that speak to them. Deborah will also have extra images on hand.

$280 per member.
