Viena Wroblewska

May 30/31, 2026 (Saturday/Sunday, 2-Day Workshop 9:30 am to 4:30 pm)

McTavish Academy of Art – 1720 McTavish Road, North Saanich

Polish-Canadian artist Viena Wroblewska has always been drawn to the nuances of human expression and the stories people share. As an avid world traveler and keen student of life, Viena has a penchant for connecting with others. Whether she is in a cafe on the other side of the world or recreating the world’s cuisines for friends in her own kitchen, she is drawn to the uniqueness of those around her.

Viena has dabbled occasionally in art since her childhood growing up in communist Poland. It wasn’t until 2012, living in Canada, that Viena began to feel a growing passion to express herself artistically, and since then has been applying herself extensively to her craft. Viena has studied under several outstanding Canadian artists including Andrew McDermott and Robert Genn, and honed her skills completing a Certificate in Visual Arts at Emily Carr University of Art & Design.
