Each piece emerges through an instinctive process where gesture and mark-making form a visual language of energy and rhythm.

Spontaneity is central to my process. I work in layers, responding to each mark as it develops to create balance, tension, and flow. This approach allows unexpected forms and relationships to emerge, reflecting both control and chance within the composition.

Born in a Leap Year in Victoria, BC, I embrace the rarity of my birth year as a metaphor for creative renewal and unconventional rhythm — qualities that continue to shape both my art and my life.
